Board of Directors
Currently recruiting for one vacancy.
The WOW Board of Directors (Board) currently has the following Board vacancy. The Board has seven members and each term is one year. Members renew their commitment annually at the Annual Meeting. The Board meets 3-5 times a year. Most Board Meetings are held in or around Denver. The Board tries to hold one meeting at the WOW mountain facility each year.
Board Member - Treasurer
The treasurer shall be the principal financial officer of the corporation. The position requires strong organization and communication skills. Bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience encouraged. Responsibilities include the following:
Manage bank accounts and handle receipts and payments of invoices
Maintain the QuickBooks online accounting system
Coordinate with the external CPA to prepare federal and state tax returns
Provide financial statements (income statement and balance sheet) at board meetings and upon request by board members
Manage business credit cards with the bank
Manage merchant relationship to allow receipt of credit card payments
Other administrative duties as may be assigned, ie. insurance policies, thank you letters, donor list
